Packaging Prints

When arranging a photo shoot, it is not just about the images of your family, but having a solution to storing those valuable memories.

I have spent hours trying to source  storage solutions and now am happy to announce actionpactKIDZ (and actionpactpix), will not only just supply beautiful memories, but have now stocked some gorgeous packaging.

The Print boxes are in stock in three sizes and will be supplied free of charge with any order, and
Albums and Portrait Folders (not pictured), are leather or linen look and can display your images for everyone to enjoy.

Finally, with children's prints, grandma's always want some images and the concertina albums are a huge hit with the grandmas as are the portrait albums.

Timing is everything

When you organise a photo shoot with children, there are a couple of things you need to make sure you remind the parents, and also you need to have a few things on hand:-

1. Try to have the child rested or time your session when the child is most active
2. Make sure the child is clean and has some spare clothes on hand (just in case)
3. Have with you baby wipes and a towel.

So looking at the child, before you even begin to pose them, make sure their eyes and eyelids are all clean of "sleep" and that the childs nostrils are clean.....Also check fingernails and hands in older children.

Some of these little details are not so important for the 5x7 print, but on bigger prints they begin to stand out.

This little cutie was a little tired and although there were enough opportunities for those "cute pics" I must confess my repertoire of songs was pushed to the limit....lol

Bright sun and family shots

A sunny morning at a local park and a BIG family for the "four generation" photo shoot.

It was a big morning, lots of different arrangements, and it was all done very quickly too as there was a family celebration everyone had to get to.....so although the groups were perhaps posed without too much imagination, I did manage to get everyone to smile...even all in the same picture...!

Things I did do:-

- Wrote a list with all the ideas:-

- Everyone together
- All women
- All Men
- Youngest and Oldest
- Different Generations together as family units

Don't be scared to tick the list off and Don't forget to ask if there are any special requests from the family, after all it is THEIR photo shoot.....oh and remind them you just canno't fix everything in photoshop!
